These projects include large-scale district and regional master plans, in concert with prior and existing economic development efforts, current and future real estate trends, changing community demographics, complex environmental challenges, potential and emerging new markets, and the meaningful concerns of an informed public. Campbell & Campell has worked with jurisdictional agencies, community members, residents and property owners, the City, Chambers of Commerce, the Los Angeles Unified School District, businesses, tenants, and other community organizations and elected and appointed officials to develop meaningful visions for these communities.

These projects involved the completion of long term master plans for the restoration of the heavily used historic public places as well as designs for equal barrier-free access and fire code upgrades to contemporary standards. Our design approach is to create projects that will subtly enhance the public perception of the special characteristics of the sites by exhibiting respect for their historical and environmental contexts.
